The apartment is designed to host both social and solitary activities. A mahjong and Cantonese opera enthusiast, the homeowner enjoys hosting her friends for a mahjong and karaoke session, as well as her core family coming over for dinner. An elongated living room plan maximizes space for a mahjong table and a full-size projector screen. When alone, the maximized space becomes the “stage” for her solo Cantonese opera practice.
