Like a coiling airstrip, the furniture is designed to echo, and further animate, Professor Norman Ko’s existing sculpture “Flight”. The undulating runway spirals into a pyramid, accentuating the strong geometric character of the park and creating various forms of seating and tabletops along its path.
We hope that our installation acts not only as a piece of furniture that encourages visitors to sit together, but also a bridge that connects art with the community.

我們希望透過新裝置藝術的介入，可以使告士打道公園重新注入活力及活化現有被孤立的雕塑。新的裝置藝術旨在進一步連繫高教授雕塑的概念“飛”。環形跑道似的線條高低起伏，組成不同形態的級座和桌子，線條同時圍繞住雕塑形成金字塔般的結構與公園的地面格局作出呼應。我們希望可以帶出一個信息：裝置藝術不只是件藝術擺設，而是應該更互動地成為連接藝術和社區的橋樑。
